Some of you may be aware that I am a director of NFP -The Pancare Foundation that raises money for research into pancreatic cancer. Sadly Pancreatic Cancer has one of the lowest survival rates of all the major cancers, with statistics changing little over the last forty years. Each year we run a major fundraising luncheon at the MCG to raise money so that we can continue funding vital research, and to learn more about the symptoms and causes of pancreatic cancer to reduce your risk. This year the luncheon is at the MCG on Friday November 15th. It’s a great day and your participation by attending individually or buying a table greatly assists the funding of the foundation’s work. I have enclosed details of the day but please also take 5 minutes and have a look at our website at www.pancare.org.au. We concentrate on putting as much money as we can into our programs. Our aim is to keep our organisational overhead structure to a minimum so that as much of possible of what you contribute goes to those programs that will help those impacted by these terrible cancers.
Join the Faith team on November 15th to help in the fight against Pancreatic and other gastrointestinal cancers. Thank you.
